After seven years, the Palace Museum’s treasures are back at the Fengxian Museum, this time showcasing Qianlong, the “Artistic Emperor” and legendary collector. The exhibition presents 121 imperial artifacts—from porcelain, jade, and lacquerware to ceremonial robes, personal seals, and intricate clocks—offering a rare glimpse into Qianlong’s aesthetic diary. Visitors can go beyond just looking, with immersive experiences like “A Day in Qianlong’s Palace,” hands-on workshops in restoration, crafts, and calligraphy, interactive poetry activities, plus Palace Museum-inspired products and imperial-themed afternoon tea. This summer, Fengxian Museum invites you to step into Qianlong’s world and see firsthand the treasures, tastes, and playful creativity of one of China’s most famous emperors.
