Suzhou Eye is a landmark Ferris wheel located by Jinji Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park. Rising around 128 meters above the ground, it offers sweeping panoramic views of the lake and the city’s modern skyline. Suzhou Eye (Suzhou Ferris Wheel) is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Suzhou Industrial Park, situated along the scenic Jinji Lake. Standing approximately 128 meters tall, it provides a slow, smooth ride with panoramic views of the lake, surrounding parks, and Suzhou’s modern cityscape.

  • Tickets are verified electronically using the valid ID registered at the time of purchase
  • The ID holder must be present and enter together with all guests on the same order
  • If the registered ID does not match the ticket holder, entry may be denied for the entire group

  • Same-day bookings are not valid for entry

Getting to Suzhou Eye from Shanghai

Option 1: High-Speed Rail + Suzhou Metro (Fastest and Most Recommended)

  • Step 1
    • Take a high-speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station or Shanghai Railway Station to Suzhou Industrial Park Station.
    • Travel time is about 30 to 40 minutes.
    • Second-class ticket usually costs around RMB 40 to 80.
  • Step 2
    • From Suzhou Industrial Park Station, use Suzhou Metro to reach Line 8.
  • Step 3
    • Take Suzhou Metro Line 8 to Suzhou Contemporary Art Museum Station (Exit 1), then walk to Suzhou Eye.

Option 2: Direct Taxi or Ride-Hailing (Didi)

You can take a direct taxi or Didi from Shanghai to Suzhou Industrial Park.

Travel time is about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic
Estimated cost is around RMB 250 to 400 depending on pickup point, traffic, and car type.

This is the most convenient option if traveling in a group.


Option 3: Self-Drive

Driving distance from Shanghai to Suzhou Industrial Park is about 75 to 80 km.

Driving time is around 55 to 70 minutes without heavy traffic.
Estimated toll and fuel cost is around RMB 70 to 100 one way.

Parking is available near Jinji Lake. From there, it is a short walk or taxi ride to Suzhou Eye.


Option 4: Train + Taxi (Simplest Transfer)

Take a high-speed train to Suzhou Industrial Park Station.
From the station, take a taxi directly to Suzhou Eye.

Taxi ride is about 10 minutes and usually costs around RMB 20 to 30.

This is the simplest route if you want to avoid metro transfers.
