1. Quiet and safe. There is only one apartment each floor; all the neighbors are friendly and elderly . The building is the only one in the compound (4 floors, probably five or six units in total), with 24-hour security at the entrance. The apartment is inside, away from the road and you have a nice ambiance of birds chirping and quiet. A nice escape from the busy city!

2. Excellent lighting. The apartment is south-facing with big windows on the north, south, and west sides with no obstructions, making it pleasant to work at home during the day.

3. Great location. Across the street from the compound is the Middle Huaihai Road metro station (line 13), and it's a five-minute walk along Huaihai Middle Road to reach Shanxi South Road subway station (lines 1, 10, & 12). Walking distance to lots of great bars, restaurants, and parks: Xintiandi, Julu lu, Fumin lu, etc.

4. Fully equipped interior. It includes a built-in washer-dryer, oven, refrigerator, heater, three air conditioners, gas stove, and more. Everything is arranged to maximize the living space. The back room is versatile and can be used as a bedroom or office
