Layout of the house:
In the living room there are windows on south and north sides and there are south/east facing windows in the bedroom. The balcony which can be open or enclosed is at the bedroom. In the separate kitchen there is window facing west. Apart from the main rooms there is one big dressing room which is big enough to hold all your clothes and shoes. On the mezzanine layer there is one more bedroom which can be taken as storage space.
Wall heating driven by gas has been applied in the whole house and the two powerful ACs can cool the house effectively in summer days. In the western kitchen there is oven, dishwasher and French fridge and big cooking plate beside the west facing window.
Walking from the compound to Jing'an Temple would take tens of minutes. In this old bonny compound houses are shielded by high trees and the green view can take you joy everyday. Besides, the ladder leading to the house is made of cement while not wood, so you can feel safe up and down.
