THE HYVE is looking for a graphic artist/designer to join our team in a freelance or part-time capacity.

Most important of all, we're seeking an artist with a fun, cheeky, edgy creative sense, who is in-tune with contemporary art and can stomach criticism like a champ (we're not running a gallery here). Work from home or from our offices, we run a loose ship so long as the brief, confidentiality and DEADLINES are strictly worshiped. Drop the ball, and we may have to feed you to the Kraken.

You will be responsible for producing content ranging from:

• Graphics & illustrations
• Digital marketing materials (3d visualisations, flyers, headers, footers, etc.)
• Print marketing materials (packaging, leaflets, brochures, banners, etc.)
• Photo touchup and finishing
• Powerpoint & Keynote templates

There can be the possibility to eventually join us down in the rabbit hole as a full-timer, can also choose to stay forever unbound from the shackles of 'long-term commitment'!

Length: first we date for 3 months and then we commit! ... to 12 months, renewable

Remuneration: montly retainer + project-specific fees

REQUIREMENTS

• A confident artist
• Independent and autonomous, absolutely no hands will be given to hold 
• Reactive and communicative, sadly we don't know how to read minds, silence is your enemy!
• An experienced multi-tasker
• Experience working in design / agency / in-house creative
• Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp*, After Effects*
• Highly skilled in Indesign, Powerpoint and Keynote
• Strong communication skills in English are a must
• Basic communication skills in Mandarin are a must
