Description

As an Account Executive or Account Manager (title dependent on experience), you will be the primary point of contact for assigned clients, responsible for both relationship management and the end-to-end delivery of visual content projects. You will ensure seamless coordination between clients and KANVID’s internal teams, guaranteeing that every project meets quality, timeline, and budget expectations. Your reporting line would be to the Studio Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships, serving as the face of KANVID to your accounts and vice versa.
    • Conduct regular meetings with key clients to discuss project status, KPIs, and new opportunities.
    • Take a proactive, commercial approach to increase bookings and promote KANVID’s full suite of services.
  • Project and Production Management:
    • Take full ownership of client workflows throughout the KANVID product lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality delivery of images and videos.
    • Create comprehensive client briefs and communicate job requirements clearly to Studio Management, Planning, and Post-Production teams.
    • Oversee the production of shoots, both in-studio and on-location, including coordination with external vendors for models, props, catering, and more.
    • Be present on set to monitor and improve speed, efficiency, accuracy, and output quality.
    • Ensure all client feedback and required changes are promptly communicated to internal teams.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure all briefs, including shot counts, models, props, and locations, are approved by clients and stakeholders prior to production.
    • Manage project timelines and deadlines, revising as needed and securing internal and client alignment.
    • Oversee sales invoicing and supplier invoice approval processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Conduct final quality control of all retouched images prior to delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Debrief with studio teams on client feedback and lessons learned to drive ongoing process improvement.
    • Collaborate with Styling, Photography, and Post Production teams to establish and update client style guides.
    • Support the Business Development team in quoting, closing, and onboarding new clients, including the creation of SOPs for client workflows.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management and project or production management within creative industries, with visual content or e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin. French and or Cantonese would be a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, work cross-functionally, and build positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with HubSpot, and Slack are a plus.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing best practices is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Confidence, tact, and a persuasive manner, strong client needs analysis,, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including Hong Kong and Australia, as required.
