Role and Responsibilities

50%

• Assist in converting business needs and ideas into technical decisions and actions.
• Explaining technical solutions in plain language
• Liaising with clients and technical and sales teams to determine requirements and solutions
• Brainstorming with team members to find optimal and most cost-effective solutions to problems.
• Creating detailed proposals and reports for all projects that are under your responsibility.
• Presenting solutions to clients and stakeholders
• Track and manage project data collection, analysis, representation and reporting.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders about the progress of projects and any issues that may arise.
• Work under the close supervision of the Operations Manager.

30%

• Provide support related to R&D projects including designing and testing products, instruments, and optimizing workflows.
• Assist in a variety of product development activities and may be assigned to a variety of R&D tasks throughout the department.
• Provide feedback on design performance and possible improvements.

20%

• Design visually pleasing solutions, documents and renders
• Provide design materials for other departments
• Working and collaborating with the rest of the team on design-based projects

Requirements

• Currently in the last year of a Bachelor’s Degree or above, in Environmental Eng., Mechanical Eng., Electronic, Software, Biology, Chemistry, Science, Design or any related Research and Development field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Chinese is definitely a plus.
• Solid computer skills i.e Microsoft Office, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Origin or similar programs.
• Familiarity with research and reporting methods using scientific data analysis.
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
• Ability to identify problems and offer solutions
• Design and project management experience is advantageous
