Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

We seek a motivated and driven SQE to lead our Shanghai office's QA/QC department. You will develop and implement procedures to optimize quality control across manufacturing sites, ensuring flawless products and driving continuous improvement. You are a highly analytical, detail-oriented individual with excellent critical thinking and communication skills who gets things done.

Key Responsibilities:
QA/QC process Development & Implementation

  • Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive QA/QC processes and procedures for all product lines, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Create detailed quality reports and maintain documentation of inspection results, corrective actions, and procedural updates, ensuring timely distribution to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Design and implement QA/QC procedures for new product lines, ensuring a smooth integration of quality controls into the production process.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and audits at factories, ensuring adherence to established standards.

Team Management & Collaboration

  • Manage and oversee the performance of QC technicians by setting and tracking KPIs, ensuring inspection protocols are followed, improvements are implemented, and high standards are maintained through training and mentorship across all factories.
  • Work directly with manufacturing staff and product managers to identify and resolve quality issues throughout the entire production cycle, from raw materials to final product assembly.
  • Collaborate with USA-based teams, providing timely feedback and addressing any QC-related events or issues regarding customer support.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience, with expertise in quality assurance and inspection protocols, and confidence working on-site in factory environments. Preferred experience within manufacturing processes in electrical infrastructure, power equipment, and modular data centers.
  • Availability: Willingness to be on-call outside regular work hours and to travel weekly to various manufacturing sites in the Jiangsu region, overseeing and inspecting ongoing production as needed.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
