Restaurant Manager / Software Tester

We are seeking an experienced F&B professional to support our software development team with testing our latest restaurant management software in an actual kitchen/restaurant in Shanghai.

You will be working as a supervisor in 2 kitchens of our partner restaurant in downtown Shanghai. You will support the local kitchen staff in using the software to track waste, production, transfers, purchases and inventory taking. In regular meetings you will report back to the software team and work closely on implementing improvements and updates. Besides the kitchen tasks, you'll be working with the restaurant management to implement and test the HR tools that NoshPos is offering.

This is a project based position, currently limited to 4 weeks. As we need to test the system for all processes of our restaurant operations, you'll have flexible working hours and might be required to work early mornings (7am to supervise and track supplier deliveries) or late until 10am to supervise daily reporting and accounting.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide a visa for this. Starting date immediately, or after the October holidays.


We are seeking someone with extensive experience in managing a professional restaurant kitchen, who also has a good understanding of general restaurant management tasks. The ideal candidate has worked in a large cooroporate restaurant environment before, has used software before to manage stock and inventory in a restaurant, and understands the importance of professional reporting systems. You should be a very detailed oriented person and good with numbers. It is essential that you can communicate with the local staff in Chinese.
