Job Description

• Career Development Program Design and Execution     
  • Design, organize, and oversee a comprehensive series of career development programs tailored to the needs of CEIBS MBA students. 
  • Collaborate with external partners, consultants, and trainers to deliver high-quality outsourced career development workshops, seminars, and events.
  • Ensure programs align with industry trends, employer expectations, and student career goals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of career programs and continuously improve offerings based on feedback and outcomes. 
• Business Development for Hiring Opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with top-tier employers, recruiters, and industry leaders to create hiring opportunities for CEIBS MBA students and alumni.
  • Identify and engage with new corporate partners to expand the CDC’s employer network across industries and geographies.
  • Organize career fairs, networking events, and company presentations to connect students with potential employers. 
  • Collaborate with the CEIBS alumni network to leverage alumni-led organizations for career opportunities. 
• Career Counseling and Coaching
  • Provide one-on-one career counseling to MBA students, helping them define their career goals, develop job search strategies, and prepare for interviews.
  • Offer guidance on resume writing, LinkedIn profiles, and personal branding.
  • Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to enhance students’ interview performance.
  • Support students in negotiating job offers and navigating career transitions. 
• Strategic Leadership and Collaboration
  • Work closely with the CDC Director to develop and implement the center’s strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with faculty, program managers, and other CEIBS departments to integrate career development into the MBA curriculum.
  • Guide junior CDC staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
  • Represent the CDC at internal and external events, promoting CEIBS’ career services to stakeholders. 

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Management, HR, Strategy, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
• A minimum of 10 (or 15 for senior position) years of experience in career consulting, talent acquisition, corporate recruitment, or a related field.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering successful career development programs.
• Strong business development experience, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with employers and recruiters.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment, preferably within higher education or a global corporate training function. 

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

• Native-level English proficiency (written and spoken); proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, employers, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities, with a passion for helping individuals achieve their career goals.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated, with a commitment to supporting diverse career aspirations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with career management platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Talent Solutions).
