Data Analyst

  • Identify key metrics and build executive-facing dashboards to track the progress of all product goals
  • Drive and own A/B testing strategies, implementations, and analysis
  • Perform analytical deep-dives to analyze problems and marketing opportunities by researching, and designing & executing experiments
  • Extract actionable insights through analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional customer behaviour datasets
  • Translate complex concepts into implications for the business via superb communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Use your data insights to tell a story that we can share with partners, investors, and for PR
  • Understand what matters most and prioritize vigilantly
  • Use a data-driven approach to continuously improve processes through automation
  • Work with cross-functional teams (including Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Design, and BD) to rapidly execute and iterate
  • Build Business Intelligence views (dashboards, reports) enabling each department to successfully track their KPIs


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business analysis, or marketing insights
  • Ability to manipulate unstructured data to extract structured insights, create reports and build dashboards
  • Advanced working knowledge of data retrieving and processing using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and executing presentations of technical and business level data in a compelling way
  • Consistent track record of being able to work independently and proactively engage with business partners with minimal direction
  • Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong operational business understanding, including the potential impact of business decisions on various internal/external stakeholders
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience using test/control methodology, and using machine learning techniques (skilled in using one or more of SPSS/SAS/R/Python and etc.)
  • Proficient with one or more major BI tools including Tableau/QlikView/OBIEE and etc
  • Project or Program management skills and experience is a plus to this role
