International Marketing Manager

REPORTS TO: International Sales & Marketing Director


  • Plan and execute the international marketing strategy to develop the exhibition’s global awareness, channel potential clients to the sales team and recruit international trade visitors
  • Be in charge of international marketing budget; Provide necessary marketing research/analytical information to allocate/invest funds wisely; Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
  • Ensure the accomplishment of marketing material content and design according to project timeline
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for all communication platforms (press release, website, social media and follow up with partners’ channels), to attract and convert target groups
  • Maintain and build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Follow up with the allocated international companies / country pavilions to conduct sales, customer service and onsite follow up
  • Develop new sectors with high potential on international brands presence


  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in international B2B marketing, with good business/sales sense
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing (Print, SEO, SEA, SMO…) together with the potential and attitude required to learn
  • Proven experience in identifying and converting target audiences through engaging marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and search engine (Google Adwords) / social media (Facebook, Linked-In) advertising
  • Good taste with a sense of aesthetics and basic knowledge of web and design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, CMS/HTML…)
  • Good teamwork spirit with ability to fit in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Chinese language proficiency is a real plus
  • Experience in the exhibition/events industry is a plus but not mandatory
