SmartShanghai

SmartShanghai.com has been the city's most useful English-language online city guide for almost 20 years. We write daily content and editorial on lifestyle news and events, we host Shanghai’s largest venue directory, the city’s best event listings; a popular housing platform; SmartTicket, our ticketing service; an online digital marketplace; and more. Our singular and (variously) irreverent editorial style and focus, along with our genuine love and passion for living in and writing about Shanghai, has set us apart over the years. We clearly label all our paid content and don't make our content decissions based upcon ad contracts. Thansk to all that our website and apps attract over 200k unique visitors every month (pre-covid), making us (probably) the most trafficked English online media in China. We are an international team of editors, photographers, designers and programmers, all dedicated to independence, honesty and editorial transparency.
