The Cut is a popular French bistro and grill from the VOL Group -- the company behind other Shanghai-famous name brands Mr & Mrs Bund, Bar Rouge, and Ultraviolet. This IAPM-located branch is perched on the sixth floor, and best described as "post-industrial chic", with stacked bricks and metal frames and lots of playful little motifs, such as meat cleaver door handles. The menu runs a gamut of meaty dishes like foie gras, lamb cuts, and burgers. The highlights are their selection of high-quality steaks, which are roasted with traditional French methods for a classic continental taste.
