Not to be confused with the ubiquitous Jiangnan restaurant Jardin du Jade, Jade Garden is a Hong Kong-based Cantonese concept under the umbrella of the Maxim's Group. This marks the Cantonese restaurants first crack at the Shanghai market. The menu features an array of elegant and contemporary Cantonese cuisine like double boiled fish maw and cordyceps soup in a teapot, crispy braised brisket, and chicken legs stuffed with glutinous rice. Yum cha is also an essential feature, with loads of standards like turnip cakes and egg tarts as well as more creative endeavors like deep-fried crab claws stuffed with shrimp paste.
