[Comet has closed and moved to the space where Boulevard used to be, though it's a much bigger space]. Tiny, laid-back, and hidden whiskey bar in an alley on Danshui Lu. Not the kind of place you would find unless you were looking for it. They have over 100 kinds of whiskey, with a lot of Japanese and Scottish selections. Knowledgeable and friendly bar staff in here, including a dude who used to be a dessert chef at NAKED Retreats. The place is really small -- we're talking 15–20 people maximum in here. They get busy on Fridays and Saturdays, so a weeknight or a Sunday would be the best bet (they take a rest on Mondays). Expect to pay 75rmb for cocktails; whiskey ranges vastly depending on what you order. They stock everything from Evan Williams to 30-40 year old bottles of rare single-malts. Good place for a date or a business meeting, but not a spot to party and get wild -- they have neighbors.
