Nautical-themed Swedish restaurant and bar just off The Bund. The place feels like a cross between a third-tier nightclub and The Nest. Decor is mismatched and all over the place, with design from several different periods mashed-up together and sound-tracked by loud commercial club music. Would you like to "Get Your Hands Up!" while eating some Swedish meatballs? Though not crazy expensive for this area (two people could eat for 400-500rmb), the food would be a lot better if it was half the price. They do have some Swedish dishes, but other items like beef carpaccio and foie gras contribute to the randomness of the place and dilute the concept. Beers start around 60rmb and cocktails start around 80rmb. The loud vibe does not encourage long stays, nor do the lasers you have to walk through when you enter the building. They do seem to have some female employees who will provide company for lonely patrons, so there is that. Although the service is good, you have many better options for dining on The Bund.
