Da Vittorio is a three Michelin-starred restaurant in Bergamo, Italy, opened in 1966. It made a name for itself serving seafood in a region not known for that, and, after a few decades, moved up into the rarefied world of top-rated Michelin restaurants. It's also frighteningly expensive, selling an egg with caviar for 160 Euros back home. In 2019, they expanded to Shanghai, no doubt with expectations of being embraced by the Chinese billionaire class, and has since gone on to earn two stars in the Shanghai Michelin Guide. The experience itself is luxe, with excellent service and high prices – the average per person is over 2,000rmb.
