Ge Lao Guan is a popular frog hot pot restaurant, where waits on a weeknight can stretch to 90 minutes or more for their signature amphibians. You have to choose your spiciness and number of frogs; four is the minimum frog quantity. It takes some getting used to, but it's great, with a subtle flavor and a texture somewhere between fish and chicken that really lends itself to the rich spiciness of good hot pot. In all, you’ll pay 100-150rmb without drinks, if you don't overorder.
