Bloodline, which began in 2017, functions as the foreigner outreach for the Shanghai Blood Center. The group in part grew out of a need to source rare blood types including Rh negative, a blood type very rare in Asia, but more common among European descendants. The group organizes blood drives and provides English language donation information.
