There was a time when Dunkin' was ascendant in Shanghai, with a shop right across from Jing’an Temple and many more locations. That was back when the donut’s future looked real bright. There was even a space for DD's competitor Krispy Kreme on Wujiang Lu. But that’s all over now, with Dunkin' down to less than 10 shops in the whole of Shanghai. This is one of the last holdouts, on the north bank of the Suzhou Creek.
