A family-run peach orchard located at Nanhui, in far-off Pudong, about an hour drive away from downtown Shanghai. The hostess, Tang Yinfang, has been working in these peach orchards for more than 40 years. This family orchard is open to the public during harvest season of shuimitao (the honey nectar peach). Their peach picking trip lasts normally till August, when the last batch of yellow peaches ripe. Call ahead of time before you go for peach picking - the best season varies from year to year.
