Homeslice Pizza first brought the classic New York-style slice to Shanghai in 2017, making all their pizzas with a handmade sourdough crust and serving it by the slice and whole pie. At their Jing'an "Kitchen" shop with indoor and covered outdoor seating, they still offer pizza by the slice and pie, as well as a broader menu of snacks and plates like lasagna, grilled pork, roasted vegetables, chicken parm, and more. These main dishes and sides take that same hand-made, craft approach to food inspired by New York’s “red-sauce joints”. This is essentially Italian-American comfort food, with a light touch. They've also got a full menu of short and long drinks, including their classic pizza margarita, and a well-curated menu of beers, including selections from craft breweries all around China. Every Monday-Friday (except public holidays) at lunch, they do a deal that's 35rmb for a slice and drink or 55rmb for two slices and a drink.
