A small Thai restaurant (that is actually pretty hidden) in a xiaoqu next to Ambassy Court. Like many of its peers, Hidden Thai serves up a regional mishmash of the country's most popular dishes -- but it stands out for making them very much like they would taste in Thailand. It helps that the restaurant is run by Thai people: The laoban niang is from Isan, the head chef is a woman from Bangkok, and most of the staff are Thai. Some of their standout dishes include khao soi (a coconut curry noodle from Northern Thailand), massaman beef curry (a rich curry that fuses fresh Thai aromatics with Indian spices), and pretty much anything on their list of stir-fries: seafood curry, beef with basil and chili, morning glory, pad thai, and more.
