First opened in the 80s, Shanghai Forest Knight Equestrian Club is located close to the city center, inside Gongqing Forest Park. The club has 6 professional coaches, including English-speaking coaches and senior coaches who are recognized by the FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale) and CEA (Chinese Equestrian Association). They have 4 stables with more than 60 horses, and the training ground covers an area of 3400 square meters, including a 600-meter horse racing track. There is also a clubhouse , a saddlery shop and an outside seating area . The club is the council member of Shanghai Equestrian Association, the VIP unit of CEA and Pony Club Australian. They offer classes for children and teenagers, adults, and aspiring athletes. Most classes are one-on-one and can be held in both English and Chinese. Lessons in Dressage and Show Jumping is available. The club owns imported warm-blooded horses from Europe, half-blooded, well-trained horses and Chinese horses for beginners.
