From the road BuddyDog doesn’t look all that welcoming, but inside the vibe improves. On the ground floor you have a long swimming pool for water-inclined pups, the pricier pet rooms dedicated to bigger dogs at the back, a welcome area for newbies, and the reception where you get warmly greeted by its four resident dogs, including the boarding’s namesake, Buddy, a 12-year-old golden retriever. Around back there are lots of rooms for smaller and medium-sized dogs, while cats snooze on the fifth floor away from their barky neighbors. Dogs are taken out to play three times daily on the big grassy area at the back, and if it rains the building has four big indoor dog play areas on the higher floors. Disappointingly it doesn’t offer dog walking, which should be a standard, especially with the higher room rates. Dog rooms 140-380rmb. Cat rooms 120rmb/VIP cat room 200rmb. Prices don't include meals: 10-25rmb per day.
