A small, efficient cocktail bar serving the city's most premium (and most expensive!) gin & tonic. An entire page of the menu is dedicated to tiered g'n't options: standard Beefeater and Bombay is 58rmb but works its way up to Crimson Pangolin and Citadelle at 68rmb, Peddlers and Hendrick's at 78rmb, Sipsmith and Roku at 88rmb, with top shelf gins going for 98rmb+. They have an option to add a 35rmb "premium tonic" like East Imperial, Fever-Tree, Le Tribute, Pao Yuzu, and more. Don't let the sky-high upper price ranges confound you: the standard g'n't is very good (and 40rmb during happy hour) and they do some very excellent cocktails in the 68-78rmb range, like a fancified Gin & Juice — Beefeater, basil, passion fruit, citrus and coconut milk, clarified — and a classic Clover Club with the egg white swapped for protein-rich aquafaba to great effect. Worth a visit for anyone who like gin cocktails and/or tonic, before-or-after dinner elsewhere in Shankang Li.
