A brand-new park that covers 1.88 square kilometers of space alongside the Huangpu river, this renewal project was designed to revitalise the use of the Shanghai EXPO center and help become a cultural, artistic, and scientific hub for the city. Four pavilions from the EXPO will remain and be integrated into the programming of the new park, as well as an equestrian center, an artificial viewing hill, several outdoor and indoor gardens, and even the new Grand Opera House.
