This fine-dining French restaurant opened with some controversy in 2021. Le Jardin JR say they are legally entitled to operate under the name of Joël Robuchon, the late, great French chef and restaurateur. The group that operates L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon and other Robuchon venues around town says they aren’t. Either way the stunning mansion, formerly Lapis Thai and boutique hotel B’Lavii House, also once home to legendary painter Zhang Daqian isn't a bad place to enjoy a 1,588rmb degustation menu. You'll be able to dine cheaper than that a la carte but its still going to be pricey; expect a bill in the four figures per person.
