1 OAK Shanghai is the sixth of The Butter Group's 1 OAK international hip-hop club franchise and the first in mainland China. The decor is an eclectic mix, featuring neon lights, wood-paneled ceilings, and an 80s-style lounge aesthetic. Music ranges from hip-hop/rap to billboard hot 100 pop and they regularly have live performances from local artists. Private rooms of various sizes on the upper floor are available for groups. Dress code is classy - don’t try to get in wearing shorts and sneakers.
