The primary teaching language is English, with a Dual Language approach in Mandarin and English in DUCKS (Toddler to Year 2). Children up to age 5 follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, and from Year 1 to Year 9, they follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales, which is enhanced to meet the needs of our international student body. In Year 10 they begin the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), a rigorous two-year course that requires students to take a broad range of subjects covering maths and sciences, English and foreign languages, and the humanities. The vast majority of teaching staff are from the United Kingdom, and all are highly qualified to teach the curricula we offer.
The design of our campuses revolves around three main focal points to support our holistic learning philosophy - a green, sustainable urban environment, an open and conducive learning community and a reflection of shared values of community and culture. We offer an educational environment designed to nurture the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of our students.
Our campuses allow students to access world-class facilities, that include but are not limited to libraries, swimming pools, gymnasiums, state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centres, science and IT laboratories, suites of music and art rooms, design and technology workshops, SE21 areas, roof-top gardens, gymnasiums, dining rooms and coffee shops. In addition, all classrooms in our schools are spacious, bright, ventilated and well furnished.
