LFS offers the French National program with unique streams (general stream, European stream, International American and International Chinese Streams), as well as a program dedicated to non-French speaking students (FLSco).
The French as Language of Instruction (FLSco) program allows students who begin in French to fit in the French education system. Courses target children from K3 on. A lot of non-French speaking students currently enrolled at shanghai French School went through the FLSco program.
Sports and school activities (ASC) are an important part of school life at Shanghai French School.We offer more than fifty activities, supervised by experienced coaches from Kindegarten GS to Terminale, in English, French and/or Chinese. These activities are divided into two categories: leisure and competitions.
Scholarships in the form of financial aid may be granted by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) to French children from families with insufficient resources to fully or partially cover the tuition fees charged by schools outside of France.

The Shanghai French School offers a bus service shared with the DSS for our students every day of the week, in partnership with a government transport company, Pei Xing Bus Company. The fleet includes 93 vehicles, which run 3500 kms per day and serve the Qingpu and Yangpu campuses.Everyday, more than 2000 passengers are transported to our two campuses from more than 200 meeting points throughout the city, with an average arrival rate of 99.3% on the morning!
