Coming to us from Shake and Heydey’s head cocktail shaker Colin Tait, Black Rock serves almost 200 varieties on whiskey, organized by taste profile, so even if you don’t know your whiskeys all that well, you can just pick something out according to your preferences. Centerpiece to the bar is a big communal table which also serves as their in-house whiskey aging barrel — it’s pretty neat. Good for low key nights with friends and dates, particularly if they like whiskey.
