The small (8 tables and 2 private rooms) contemporary fine-dining restaurant at the lobby level of the Waldorf Astoria is one of the hottest tickets in town (as of Jan 2024) with reservations difficult to get. It's a dark, well-designed intimate space with a semi-open kitchen that feels like you are watching a theater performance of a kitchen. Set menus in the 1k+ range per person. The main focus appears to be on the presentation of the food (a little less on the flavor profiles), each dish is beautifully presented with good storytelling, which has already earned them one Michelin star just a few months after they've opened.
