Good Good Beer is exactly that — good good beer in a one-room, hole-in-the-wall bar on Julu Lu. The owner, King, is spreading his love for Chinese craft beer across seven taps with the usual categories, IPAs, wheat beers, stouts, and more — coming from small-yield craft breweries from places like Changsha, Beijing, Chongqing, and, of course, Shanghai. They also do their own house roast of coffee for daytime customers. It’s a good one to check out if you’re looking into trying different varieties of Chinese craft beer in a hip but low-key environment. They also stay open late, late, late on the weekends for the post-cubbing crowd. Prices are 35rmb-55rmb for beers.
