Although the actual authenticity of many of the items available at the stalls therein is questionable, the Dongtai Lu Antique Market, an open market on a small street near Xintiandi, is great for mementos and souvenirs of a trip to Shanghai. And for engaging in the city's most beloved amateur sport: haggling. To get there, either take a 5 mins walk heading east from Xintiandi, or drop off by taxi at Xizang Lu, corner of Liuhekou Lu.
