Prada's first permanent restaurant in Shanghai, located on the second floor of Prada Rong Zhai, offers a unique dining experience designed by director Wong Kar Wai. The main dining area is inspired by the iconic scene from In the Mood for Love, where the protagonists share a meal, creating a romantic ambiance. The lounge provides a space to relax before dining, while the retail section offers desserts and chocolates. The café area serves breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea, with attentive service. There is also a private room designed as a study, providing a more intimate setting. The restaurant's design draws from the philatelic concept of "antipodes," symbolizing the connection between Milan and Shanghai through reflective and juxtaposed elements. The space merges elements of Milan’s Prada heritage with Shanghai's modern atmosphere. Officially opened on March 31, 2025, the restaurant offers a distinct experience in the city’s cultural landscape.
