Villa Le Bec is the next chapter from chef-proprietor Nicolas Le Bec, expanding the long-running Bistro Le Bec into a much larger, multi-floor setup inside the restored Bund City Hall. Set in a standalone neoclassical building within the complex’s inner courtyard, the plan brings together several functions under one roof: all-day bistro and café dining on the ground floor, a more refined French restaurant upstairs, event and wine-focused spaces above, and cellar storage below for imported French wines. It’s a significant scale-up from the Xinhua Lu original, aimed at covering everything from casual daytime visits to destination dinners and private gatherings, while keeping a distinctly French, restaurant-led core.
