Tasteful, somewhat hidden little French bistro on Huaihai Zhong Lu that specializes in foie (obviously). Epices & Foie Gras is an inviting little oasis with friendly service and quality food. They also serve brunch on both Saturday and Sunday from 11.30–2.30, which is a really good deal. They have a set meal for 218rmb that gets you three courses of anything from Bennies or omelets to terrines to main courses like roasted and stuffed chicken thigh with mustard cream sauce as well as desserts like chocolate mousse or crème brûlée. Recommended.
