This museum could itself be in a museum. Its collection of old, odd, kitsch and rather moth-eaten exhibits seem to date from the 1950s. All of which makes it rather a fun day out, though not necessarily the best place to learn hard facts about the past. Star exhibits include 150 million-year-old dinosaur remains unearthed in Sichuan Province.
