Big market in Hongqiao selling all kinds of flowers, plants, and even a hodgepodge collection of furniture, housewares and art. The price range for potted plants depends on size and species, but in general, smalls start around 10-15rmb, mediums are 30-80rmb and big ones start around 90-150rmb but can go up much higher depending on the species. They’ve got some cool exotic plants here including succulents. In general, prices here are far cheaper than what you will find downtown, especially in the summer when the high temperatures keep the traffic down. This is also an expat favorite come holiday season to pick out live Christmas trees of various types and sizes (yes, they have big ones!).
