The Shanghai Post Museum is an interesting jaunt into the obscure past of the postal service in China. It's free to the public and there is a beautiful rooftop garden where you used to be able to sit out and get a great view of the Bund. Unfortunately, it is no longer open to the public. However, the museum is still a must for post/stamp enthusiasts.

The re-birthed German fine dining restaurant in partnership with the Paulaner group, returned after the original on Binjiang Dadao closed in 2018. Still white table-cloth environment and nice views over the river, except in Hongkou.
