    Located centrally in Huangpu District, Sinan Mansions consists of dozens of European-style garden houses dating back to 1920s Shanghai, and was once the residence for famous Chinese figures, such as Sun Yat-sen, Mei Lanfang and more. After renovations, the open-air complex has been a popular go-to for not only tourists, but also film makers, internet celebrities, etc. Tucked in these beautiful lanes are various facilities, including a hotel, a museum, a bookshop, as well as international F&B spaces like Bar Renaissance and Maison De l’Hui. It’s a nice walk if you’d like to see these vintage gardens and plant-covered architecture, or get to know a little more about the city.
