This outpost of the famed barbecue institution out of Austin, Texas isn't so much a haven for homesick Texans as it is a foray into an emerging market. It's a smaller version that's been slightly repackaged for local tastes. The menu is primer on Texas barbecue, comprising most of the basics: pork ribs, smoked brisket, chicken. They've also added burgers, steaks and a few pastas into the mix. In addition to barbecue and brews there is a stage for live music, and the owners are promising to bring in blues and rock acts from Texas.
