House of Flour is the brainchild of Brian Tan, erstwhile five-star hotel pastry chef. When Tan left the luxury hotels, he focused on quality and value for his own venture, of which House of Flour is the first. It translates as inexpensive but excellent light fare -- soup, salads, sandwiches, pastas -- along with great desserts and smoothies. As far as dining in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park goes, of which subway station HoF is smack next to, this place is a verifiable hit.
