Sir Elly's is throwing a family-style "Michelin" Easter brunch with seasonal dishes. It's available from 11am-3pm, priced at 668rmb* per adult with an option for unlimited champagne at 288rmb*. It's 268rmb* per child for kids from 5-12 years.

Easter Sunday brunch happens at ON56 at Grand Hyatt Shanghai. Signature dishes from Kobachi, Cucina and The Grill, with locally sourced ingredients. Extensive seafood bar with salmon, prawns and oysters, a salad station with organic vegetables. The dessert section at Patio features Easter carrot cupcakes, hot cross buns and more. Boom! Liquid Laundry's introducing their Liquid Jazz Brunch. There's a 2-hour mimosa, craft beer, Bloody Mary and champagne free-flow option for 188rmb, and on April 1, there'll be live jazz music, and brunch specials available. Plus, Easter kids activities while the parents get irresponsibly drunk. There'll be live music from 11am-3pm.

On Sunday April 1st, Zeitgeist is putting together a hearty Easter Brunch Buffet for family and friends. Buffet from 11am-3pm is 240rmb for adults & half price for kids 6-15 years (kids below 6 are free of charge). Commune Social's organizing a weekend of Easter brunch with games for the wee 'uns. It's 188rmb for 3 dishes, kicking off at 11.30am.

Paulaner Xintiandi hosts a joyful Easter weekend for the entire family. "Enjoy our delicious Easter specialties such as tasty lamb carpaccio, juicy oven braised lamb leg or pan seared duck breast, specially prepared for this occasion." Menu details on the flyer. Available from March 31 to April 2.

Easter Church Services in Shanghai

Abundant Grace International Fellowship has three separate events on; a Communion Service on Thursday, March 29 at 7pm, a Good Friday Service on Friday (hah), March 30 at 7pm at the Community Center Pudong, and a big ol' family Easter Service on Sunday, April 1 at 3pm. That usually attracts big crowds, and they've got games and an easter egg hunt for the kiddos.

St. Ignatius Cathedral is holding services in English on Thursday, March 29 at 8.30pm, on Good Friday at 7pm, on Saturday, March 31 at 9.30pm, and on Easter, Sunday, April 1 at 12pm.

St. Peter's Church has an English service on Sunday, April 1 at 11am.

Sacred Heart is holding an Easter Service on Sunday, April 1 at 10.30am.

Shanghai Grace Church has an English-language Easter service on Sunday, April 1 starting at 3pm.
