The first and third Saturday of the month, there's a little farmers' market type of deal at Jiashan Market run by Amelia Heaton-Renshaw, of Amelia's jams and snacks. She and around 30 other crafty fellows set up shop and ship home-made goods, sausages, jams, cakes, brownies and produce from Chinese farmers. It costs 150rmb to rent a stall for a day, but free to turn up and shop. 11am-4pm.
