The music of the acoustic-instrumental duo of accordion player Yuko Ikoma and contrabass player Kosuke Shimizu is like musical calligraphy - music so rich and textural it is almost visual. Yuko laces gorgeous and mysterious melodies with her lovely fingers while Kosuke builds rhythmic, sonorous beats, blending in perfect harmony with each other and with their surroundings, creating a musical experience they are calling "Japanese New Exotica."
