Another pop/rock festival a few hours from Shanghai in Zhenjiang (remember when they used to do MIDI out here?). They don't have the big names like last year, which featured Scorpions and Demi Lovato, but they've got some of the most recognizable pop/rock stars in mainland, like Stefanie Sun, Sandy Lam, Xu Wei and Cui Jian. And…Backstreet Boys. The fest is geared toward local pop fans and, but their are a few random international metal bands like Negacy, Onslaught and Scream Maker. Tickets are 200rmb per day, 500rmb for three people per day, 160rmb if you're student, or 360rmb for a two day pass. Starts at 2.30pm each day. You can find more info (in Chinese) on Youle. This happens at Changjiang International Music Island, Jiangsu Province (江苏镇江世业洲长江国际音乐岛). The closest train station is Zhenjiang Railway Station, and then you'll need to take a cab or a bus from there.
