Now living in Paris Ohana combines in her original compositions influenced by classic jazz greats such as Thelonious Monk, Chico Buarque, and Miles Davis with elements of the rich percussion history of her native Brazil. She comes to Shanghai via the Swatch artist residency program in which lucky kids get a free hotel room in exchange for creating a piece of art or music.
